Kaci grew up in Athens, Texas, a small East Texas town about two hours southeast of Dallas. She is a graduate from Southern Methodist University where she earned a BA degree in Broadcast Journalism with a 3.8 GPA in her major. Kaci has always had a passion for reporting and is a self-proclaimed "news junkie." Last November, she launched her recession-proof New York City news blog called the "Self-Employed Reporter." 

 

Some of Kaci's most memorable interviews include action-movie celebrity Mark Wahlberg, Danny Boyle, who won the 2009 Emmy for Best Director in Slumdog Millionaire, and funny man Kevin James.
